Govt Ends Ban on Donkey Skin Exports Under New Trade Policy

The government of Pakistan has lifted the ban on donkey skin exports, introducing a new policy framework for the trade.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, exports will only be permitted from the Gwadar Free Zone and restricted to registered, approved slaughterhouses.

The latest notification effectively overturns the ECC’s 2015 decision, with the Commerce Ministry amending the Export Policy Order 2022 to implement the change.
