Due to fluctuations in global oil prices, MS petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) prices are anticipated to increase this week. Beginning on December 1, 2024, the federal government is anticipated to raise the price of gasoline and diesel by Rs. 3 and Rs. 2.9 per liter, respectively.

Notably, throughout the reviewed time, the value of the Pakistani rupee stayed steady at the 277–278 level. The price of HSD in Pakistan is anticipated to rise to Rs. 258–259 per liter in light of the factors already mentioned.
MS rates are anticipated to rise to Rs. 251-252 a liter in the interim. The government maintained the exact pricing for gasoline and HSD throughout the past two weeks.
Light diesel oil and kerosene prices are anticipated to stay the same. On November 30, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will present its final recommendations to the government.
Before finalizing the prices, the Prime Minister will confer with the Ministry of Finance.
After the Prime Minister’s approval, a formal notification will be sent out, reflecting the revised prices.
