Govt. to Build Olympic Village in Islamabad
Islamabad: According to the most recent information, the government has planned to build an Olympic town at the base of the Margalla Hills in Islamabad that will occupy over 1200 Kanals. The purpose of this effort is to advertise the nation’s sporting facilities. It is important to note that the estimated cost of building the Olympic Village would be close to Rs. 3 billion.

In order to build the Olympic Village, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave the necessary instructions to the authorities during the event. The prime minister claims that the majority of Pakistan’s population is young. Sports are a good way for young people to channel their energy in a positive way.
The PM recalled the government’s historic efforts to advance sports in the nation, including the establishment of a national sports programme and the construction of Islamabad’s first sports university.
