Pakistan’s emerging squash talent Hamza Khan secured a remarkable victory at the Men’s Golden Open Squash Championship, overpowering Hong Kong’s Ka Hei Ho in straight games with scores of 11-6, 11-8, 11-7 in the final. The event, held at the Ray Finlayson Sporting Complex, marked another major milestone in Hamza’s promising career as he claimed the PSA Challenger Tour title worth $6,000.
At just 19 years old, Hamza Khan demonstrated exceptional form throughout the tournament. As the second seed, he dominated the final without dropping a game, showcasing his signature control, composure, and court awareness. His opponent, Ka Hei Ho, who had entered the final on a high after defeating the top seed in the semifinals, was unable to withstand Hamza’s relentless pressure and precise shot-making.

Hamza launched his campaign with a convincing 3-0 win over Hong Kong’s Lap Man Au. In the semifinals, he returned to top form by defeating Ming Hong Tang of Hong Kong in straight games 11-5, 11-7, 11-4.
