Following Monday’s first snowfall of the season in Murree, along with periods of intermittent showers and hailstorms, the district administration has released a significant advisory for visitors.
Travelers are cautioned that temperatures in Murree today will fluctuate, so dress accordingly.
In the next 36 to 72 hours, there is a significant chance of snowfall in the upper regions, including Murree, as per the warning issued by the Meteorological Department.
The district administration has made all the preparations required to handle any unfavorable situation. Thirteen facilitation centers have been established throughout Murree, according to the Deputy Commissioner of Murree.

However, the PMD has forecasted increased precipitation and snowfall in a number of KPK districts, including Abbottabad, Balakot, Mansehra, Peshawar, Shangla, Shangla, Malakand, and Dir.
In addition, a series of intense downpours and snowfall in Kashmir have been predicted by the Met Department. The Tourism Authority’s spokesperson, Muhammad Saad, just said that winter travel in the higher regions has begun.
Additionally, visitors have been encouraged to use cars that are designed for driving in the snow while visiting places where snowfall is likely.
