The Hajj Policy 2024 states that each pilgrim’s cost for the Hajj will be Rs. 1.1 million under the government program next year. The federal cabinet has been tasked with approving the policy.
A local media outlet reported that the amount per pilgrim has been fixed at Rs. 1.1 million, citing sources. In the meantime, the government will provide separate housing for single families.
Pakistan has been allotted 179,201 slots by the Saudi government for the Hajj in 2019. Fifty percent of the total quota has been set aside for the government program, and the remaining fifty percent is for the private program.

Additionally, sources from the Religious Ministry have stated that Pakistani citizens will be allowed to complete the Hajj for a maximum of 20 to 25 days for the first time ever.
To alleviate the hassle of arranging funds, the government has decided to keep the Sponsorship Hajj Scheme in place for the following year.
It is important to note that 10,000 or so people can benefit from this program, which collects Hajj expenses in US dollars.
