Honor has expanded its budget lineup with the Play 80 Pro, a device focused on long battery life and 5G connectivity.
Design and Display
The Play 80 Pro features a 6.8-inch LCD display with 720×1610 resolution and up to 850 nits peak brightness. The phone appears to have a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
The device measures 166.89 x 76.8 x 8.24mm, weighs 207g, and comes in blue, white, and black. It carries an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, supports operation with wet hands, and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and dual speakers.
Performance and Software
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset with 5G support, paired with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs MagicOS 9 based on Android 15.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and support for multiple satellite navigation systems such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou.
