Pakistan opened their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup campaign on Saturday with a group-stage clash against the Netherlands at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo, as captain Salman Ali Agha looks to carry Pakistan’s recent winning momentum into the global tournament.
The 2025 Asia Cup runners-up are playing their opening match of the 10th edition of the T20 World Cup, which is being staged across Sri Lanka and India from February 7 to March 8. The match got underway at 10:30 AM local time.
At the toss, Pakistan opted to bowl first, choosing to field against the Netherlands.
