The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named South Africa’s spinner Simon Harmer as the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for November 2025 following his outstanding performances in Test cricket.
Harmer earned the honour after a remarkable showing in South Africa’s Test series against India, where he claimed 17 wickets across two matches. His consistent wicket-taking proved crucial to South Africa’s success in the series and highlighted his impact with the ball.
Reacting to the recognition, Harmer expressed gratitude to his teammates, coaching staff, and family, dedicating the award to their support throughout the series.
Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz and Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam were also among the shortlisted nominees, having delivered strong performances during the month.
The nominees were announced earlier this month following the conclusion of November’s international fixtures. The ICC Men’s Player of the Month award honours exceptional individual performances in international cricket and is determined through a combination of fan voting and selections by an expert panel.
