The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a scheduled power outage in several areas on Saturday due to maintenance and development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply in parts of Rawalpindi City Circle will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. Affected areas include those connected to Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Tehmasamabad, Dhok Hukamdad, RIC, and Rahimabad feeders.
Under the GSO Circle, power will be suspended from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132 kV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132 kV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines.
Additionally, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, electricity supply will remain suspended on the 132 kV transmission line at New Wah Bahter More and nearby areas.
IESCO stated that power may be restored earlier if the maintenance work is completed ahead of schedule and apologized to consumers for the inconvenience.
