Aleema Khan, the sister of Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has declared that after his sons, Sulaiman and Qasim, return from the United States, they will join the party’s protest activity.

Aleema Khan told the media outside Adiala Jail after meeting her brother, who is incarcerated, and his wife, Bushra Bibi, that the party’s leader has announced a full-fledged protest movement, which he hopes will peak on August 5, the day he serves out his two years in prison.

Aleema, accompanied by her sisters, told reporters, “The founder has sent a clear message: the people must be ready for a powerful protest.” “Those who are unable to handle the pressure of this movement should depart immediately,” he urged.

Sons of PTI founder not asking for permission, Aleema explained that Imran Khan’s sons, Qasim and Sulaiman, were travelling to America but had told their father they planned to participate in the demonstration when they got back.

She added, “We had stopped them earlier, too.” “However, the kids are just telling their father about their choice and don’t feel the need to get his approval.”

Complete family backing for the demonstration

Aleema Khan stressed that the whole family supports the PTI founder and will actively take part in the protest movement, which is being framed as a watershed in the party’s continuous battle.

“Everyone will participate in the demonstration,” she declared. “This is about justice and Pakistan’s future, not just politics anymore.”
