Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi stated that Pakistan has rejected the remarks made by India’s Defence Minister on Sindh, describing them as “unrealistic and misleading.”

Andrabi emphasized that Pakistan remains committed to defending its sovereignty, national security, and territorial integrity. He strongly condemned Rajnath Singh’s statement, calling it an attempt at provocation reflecting a “Hindutva mindset” and asserting that it challenged international law and state sovereignty.

The spokesperson urged Indian leadership to refrain from making statements that threaten regional peace and stability. He added that India should focus on protecting the lives and property of its minorities and addressing discriminatory practices.

The statement further highlighted that the people of India have endured state injustices, repression, and violence for years. Andrabi reiterated that India must take steps toward a just resolution of the longstanding Jammu and Kashmir dispute, while Pakistan continues to seek peaceful settlement of all conflicts.
