A new report from India’s National Radiological Safety Division has confirmed Pakistan’s claim that a BrahMos missile depot in Indian Punjab was damaged during a May 10 strike.
Following the incident, a radiation alert was issued, and people living within a 3 km radius were evacuated, while those within 5 km were told to stay indoors. The report warns of serious public safety and environmental risks due to possible radiation exposure.

This is the first official confirmation from Indian sources backing Pakistan’s version of events. So far, Indian authorities have not released a public statement on the matter or explained the level of radiation leak.
