Industrial Relocation Agreed China Companies to Pakistan
Islamabad: Parliamentary Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was briefed by Minister for Planning & Development Mr. Asad Umar about the Chinese industries agreement to relocate industries to Pakistan.

Mr. Asad Umar briefed about the investors who were invited during the recent visit of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan to China. Industrialists and inventors were educated on the investment prospects Pakistan’s industries offer. Particularly in the textile, shoe, pharmaceutical, and IT industries.

According to the news source, the minister disclosed that Chinese companies intend to construct a metal and paper recycling facility in Gwadar as well as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) along the Lahore-Kasur Road. Additionally, the expansion of the cotton and dairy industries will be pursued.
