Industrial Zones to be Built in Dhabeji and Khairpur by Sindh

Karachi: According to our sources, Sindh Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikram Ullah Dharejo announced on January 19 that the provincial government will establish industrial zones in Dhabeji and Khairpur.

In his address to the various delegations, the minister informed them that the Larkana Industrial Zone had also been constructed. A balloting mechanism was launched for purchasers and businesses. In addition, the minister explained that the provincial government is constructing new industrial and economic zones around the province, which would include small-scale industrial units.

The government is striving to resolve the issue. As the minister mentioned when commenting on the encroachment and amenity issues, the government would take action as quickly as possible. In addition, the minister has claimed that the Sindh government intends to enact rules requiring industrialists to begin construction.
