Initiative Launched for Enhancement of Public Departments
Lahore: According to a news report, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar has declared the start of the “Khidmat Apki Dehleez Per” social uplift initiative to assist the people of the province and enhance the performance delivery of public departments.

According to reports, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar called a meeting to discuss the matter at this office, where it was decided that the government agencies would carry out specific activities under this programme in addition to their administrative responsibilities.
Also, the procedures for delivering services will be upgraded for greater effectiveness and minimal inconvenience for the populace.

The civic departments’ tasks will be determined by the public’s demands and the third parties’ comments gathered for the public sector entities. Every week, this public feedback will be gathered for the given targets.
The CM made it clear at the meeting that the government wanted to win back the public’s trust and turn Punjab into a model province. He was adamant that the government shouldn’t have to go to government agencies to get answers to its issues.
Also, CM Buzdar has threatened the officials with harsh disciplinary action if they fail to do their duty.
