In a significant escalation of the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, Iran has launched a fresh round of missile and drone strikes on multiple Israeli cities, including Haifa and Tel Aviv. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed the attacks, marking the ninth such operation in recent weeks, and declared the assault would continue until morning. The strikes are part of Iran’s campaign of retaliation, which it claims is in response to “Zionist crimes” and the killing of civilians.
Emergency sirens were activated across several Israeli cities, and authorities instructed citizens to take shelter. Israel’s air defense systems have reportedly been engaged in intercepting the incoming aerial threats.
In Haifa, the Bazan Group reported the shutdown of its refinery facilities after Iranian missiles severely damaged a power station used for steam and electricity. The incident resulted in the deaths of three employees, according to a regulatory statement.

Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that three Red Crescent workers were killed in an Israeli airstrike during rescue efforts in Tehran. In a separate and dramatic development, an Israeli airstrike targeted Iran’s state broadcasting headquarters in Tehran, disrupting live programming and causing visible damage to studio facilities.
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, issued a statement asserting that “victory is near” and vowed to defeat Israel. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian echoed the sentiment, stating that Israel “will pay the price” and reaffirming Iran’s right to respond to any aggression.
During an interview with ABC News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu maintained that dismantling Iran’s nuclear program remains Israel’s top strategic objective. He did not rule out targeting Iran’s top leadership, including Supreme Leader Khamenei, suggesting such actions would aim to end the conflict.
Amid rising tensions, thousands of Tehran residents are fleeing the city, fearing further Israeli airstrikes. Although Iranian officials have labeled evacuation messages as psychological warfare, scenes of congested highways and panic-buying suggest mounting public anxiety.
As both sides continue their military campaigns, the risk of broader regional conflict looms large, with global powers monitoring the situation closely.
