A significant hack interrupted operations at Iran’s state bank, Sepah, while the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) apparently employed a sophisticated missile system for the first time in its most recent attack on Israel.

The new missile successfully breached sophisticated air defense systems, including those backed by the United States, and hit a crucial Israeli security and intelligence facility, Iran’s Defense Ministry representative, Brig Gen Reza Talaee Nik, said state television on Tuesday.

The intelligence superiority of the armed forces was proved by the IRGC’s operation today, which is one aspect of their strength.

The Zionist state is in a terrible condition, as seen by the precision-guided missile that struck its national security and intelligence center today and breached many levels of air defense, to which the United States is contributing, the general stated.

“In the military field, we have the upper hand by having advanced, indigenously made weapons.”

The missile was created domestically and was utilized for the first time in this fight, he continued. It could not be caught by the enemy. Over time, the Zionist enemy’s resilience will be diminished by the use of these weapons,” he stated.

The Iranian representative stressed that Iran is currently using all of its offensive capabilities, even if Israeli aggression put it into a defensive stance. He added that the Israeli government “cannot withstand a long-term strategic war” and forewarned of further “surprises” to come.

A bank has been attacked by a cyberattack.

The hacker collective ‘Predatory Sparrow’ claimed credit for a large cyberattack against Bank Sepah, one of Iran’s oldest banks and a crucial financial arm of the IRGC, on the same day, dealing serious damage to Iranian banking infrastructure.

The organization claimed to have “destroyed all data” at Bank Sepah, causing extensive interruptions in service. Customers around Iran reported not being able to access their accounts on Tuesday due to the closure of several branches.

In addition to its presence in the UK, France, Germany, and Italy, Bank Sepah runs more than 1,800 branches in Iran. The hackers claimed that Bank Sepah was a company that avoided international sanctions and utilized Iranian citizens’ funds to fund the regime’s military nuclear program, ballistic missile program, and terrorist proxies.

“Institutions devoted to upholding the dictator’s terrorist delusions suffer from this. We express our gratitude to the courageous Iranians whose assistance enabled this operation,” they continued.

The internet systems of Bank Sepah, including those linked to Iran’s network of gas stations, were disrupted, according to Fars News. The Iranian state media, however, avoided from claiming accountability.

Users also stated that Kosar and Ansar banks’ payment cards, which are also connected to Iran’s military, were not working, which fueled rumors of a more extensive coordinated cyberattack.
