A drone strike near the US Consulate in Dubai triggered a small fire on the premises, prompting a swift emergency response from local authorities.
According to officials, the drone struck the consulate’s parking area, causing a limited fire near the facility. Emergency teams arrived within minutes and quickly contained the blaze.
The Government of Dubai Media Office confirmed that the situation was brought under control and no injuries were reported.
Videos circulating on social media showed dark smoke rising near the consulate compound, although authorities emphasized that the incident was managed without casualties or major damage.
The attack comes amid rising tensions in the region following intensified hostilities involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
Reports also indicated a separate drone incident targeting the US Embassy in Riyadh, which caused minor damage. The developments have raised concerns about the widening scope of attacks as violence escalates across the Middle East.
