Iran’s Supreme National Security Council chief, Ali Larijani, visited Pakistan from November 25 to 26 and held delegation-level talks with Pakistan’s National Security Adviser, Lieutenant General Asim Malik, the Foreign Office said.
During his visit, Larijani also met with key Pakistani leaders, including the president, the prime minister, the speaker, the deputy prime minister, and the field marshal. According to the Foreign Office, the discussions highlighted the historic and longstanding ties between Pakistan and Iran. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors and agreed to work together to promote regional peace, stability, and shared prosperity.
The Foreign Office added that the meetings included a comprehensive exchange on regional and global developments. The talks underscored close coordination, constructive dialogue, and the importance of resolving disputes peacefully. Both countries expressed determination to tackle common challenges and enhance cooperation in regional and international forums.
