Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday held separate telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan, focusing on regional developments and strengthening bilateral ties.
During a call with Faisal bin Farhan, both leaders exchanged New Year greetings and discussed the prevailing regional situation. They expressed satisfaction over the positive momentum in Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening cooperation across multiple areas of mutual interest.
In a separate conversation, Ishaq Dar spoke with Bakhtiyor Saidov, who also conveyed New Year greetings. During the call, the Uzbek foreign minister formally confirmed the upcoming visit of the Uzbek president to Pakistan in February 2026.
Both sides reiterated their resolve to expand Pakistan–Uzbekistan relations and agreed to enhance collaboration in political, economic, and other mutually beneficial sectors.
