Flight operations at Islamabad International Airport will remain temporarily suspended for two hours on March 17 due to operational reasons, according to the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).
The authority said flight operations will be suspended from 08:30 AM to 10:30 AM Pakistan Standard Time. During this period, certain routes within the Lahore Flight Information Region will also face airspace restrictions.
The announcement comes after an earlier notice issued for March 16 was later cancelled. In that earlier advisory, the PAA had announced temporary airspace restrictions in the Lahore Flight Information Region along with a two-hour suspension of flight operations at Islamabad International Airport.
However, the authority later withdrew that notice and confirmed that normal flight operations would continue on March 16.
Passengers have been advised to stay in contact with their respective airlines for the latest updates regarding their flights.
