The Digital License Management System (DLMS), which streamlines data on suspects and e-challan defaulters, was recently upgraded by the Islamabad police.
The Safe City Command and Control Center recently sent a list of 145 violators to the Police Khidmat Center and traffic agencies.
Consequently, 82 infringers settled a total of 995 e-challans at the traffic offices. Additionally, officials suspended the licenses of the remaining sixty-three people as a disciplinary measure.
The completely functional Digital License Management System was upgraded earlier last week, according to CPO Safe City/Traffic. In addition, those who violate traffic laws have been warned that they must resolve their e-challans or risk legal action.

Furthermore, to guarantee compliance with the law, the cars of e-challan offenders are identified by the Safe City cameras and the recently implemented Brief Cam alerts.
On the orders of Chief Traffic Officer Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, the Islamabad police have begun a crackdown against those who break traffic laws. In October and November of 2023, there were 38,000 fewer traffic infractions in the federal capital than there were over the same period the previous year, according to Virk.
He continued by saying that this was made possible by increased fines and the filing of lawsuits against major violations, especially those involving minor drivers and one-way drivers.
