Housing Society in Islamabad the people living near the Islamabad Motorway have made a demand; they want the Blue Line metro bus service to go to the PWD interchange, where the road has been widened and construction has been finished.
To meet the increasing demand, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has chosen to introduce 160 electric buses on thirteen routes in the capital of the country.
The Blue Line route should be extended, according to Jinnah Garden resident Raziq Shah, since the substantial work of constructing new road lanes up to the PWD interchange has been finished. He claimed that a significant number of commuters, including students, would be accommodated.

PWD trader Abdul Quddus stated that the highway bus service had provided the public with necessary transportation facilities. He said that since this development has improved traffic flow, the newly built multi-lane road that connects Korang Bridge and Naval Anchorage Housing Society should be quickly expanded to include a pedestrian and bicycle interchange.
Humaira and Shaheena Jabeen, two working women who live in Korang town, said that the bus service made it easier for them to get to work in the Blue Area.
They clarified, “private vehicles are still needed to get us to the Koral bus stand so we can board the metro bus.” “It is difficult to travel the distance in a private vehicle from the PWD interchange to Koral,” said Humaira.
A number of locals, including retired resident Ahmed Ghulam, suggested connecting the metro bus route with newly announced electric bus passageways from different business and residential areas.
He suggested raising the number of buses in order to handle the growing number of commuters, who “are frequently crammed beyond capacity in each moving vehicle, especially during rush hour.” He also suggested extending the service hours.
