Schools and colleges in Islamabad resumed their regular, pre-winter timings on Monday, ending the temporary winter schedule.
Educational institutions across the Islamabad Capital Territory returned to their standard morning opening and closing hours.
The adjusted winter timings had been introduced in early December and remained in effect until January 31, 2026, to make school hours more manageable during cold early mornings.
Officials said the decision to return to normal schedules was prompted by improved weather and longer daylight hours, which support regular attendance and classroom activities.
Schools and colleges have already informed parents and students about the updated timings through digital communication channels.
