Islamabad Roads to be Named After Prominent Personalities
According to a report in The News, the local administration of the federal capital is initiating the process of naming several roads after prominent personalities who have made noteworthy contributions to Pakistan in various fields. The administration has reached out to all federating units, as well as Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, requesting the submission of names of notable figures who have brought pride and honor to the country.
The objective of this endeavor is to acknowledge and pay tribute to individuals who have excelled in their respective domains and have made remarkable contributions to Pakistan. The local administration is currently collecting names, which will be received from the provinces. Subsequently, a selection process will be carried out in collaboration with competent authorities.
