Islamabad Soon to get Dubai-Like Capital Walk Street
According to the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Islamabad, the capital city, is set to have its own version of Dubai’s Capital Walk Street, located in Shakarparian, Islamabad.
The upcoming food street will draw inspiration from renowned streets in Baku and Dubai. CDA officials have stated that multiple international and local restaurant chains will be granted leases for one kanal of land.
It is important to note that only food-related businesses will be allowed to operate on the Capital Food Street. Approximately 50 percent of the 25-acre area will be open to visitors for their enjoyment.

The CDA Chairman, Noor ul Amin Mengla, mentioned that the selected bidder will be able to commence operations within a month. He further added that alongside the culinary section, there will be recreational facilities, an amphitheater, and cultural attractions for guests to relish.
The authorities are optimistic that both domestic and international tourists will appreciate the Capital Walk Street in Islamabad. The decision has generally garnered praise from the city’s residents and inhabitants, as they believe it is a significant step towards elevating Islamabad to a top-tier capital city.
