The Orange Line, Blue Line and Green Line Metro bus services will see a rise in fares, according to the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Reputable sources told that the suggestion would be discussed at the CDA board meeting. They also stated that the next board meeting would be when the final decision to raise the fares would be made.

According to the sources, it has been suggested that the Green and Blue Line bus fares be raised from Rs. 30 to Rs. 60. The cost of the Orange Line bus will rise from Rs. 60 to Rs. 100, they claimed.
Under the condition of anonymity, a CDA official said that the municipal organization lacked the resources to operate these buses at subsidized prices. He continued by saying that the Blue, Green and Orange Line bus tickets would inevitably rise.
