The Israeli military has claimed it killed a senior officer of Iran’s Quds Force during an operation in Lebanon.
According to the Israeli army, the strike was carried out in the Natseriya area and targeted Hasan Mahmoud Morshed al-Jouhri, whom it identified as a member of the Quds Force’s external operations wing.
Israel alleged that al-Jouhri was involved in planning attacks against Israeli targets and said he was eliminated in a precision operation.
So far, no official confirmation or response has been issued by Iranian or Lebanese authorities regarding the Israeli claims.
