Issuance of NOC Ordered for High Rise Buildings in Peshawar
According to media reports, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) has ordered the relevant authorities to issue no-objection certificates (NOCs) to the private sector within the specified timeframes for the construction of high-rise buildings in Peshawar.

During a meeting of the Local Government and Rural Development Department, the prime minister stated that the promotion of ease-of-doing-business and the provision of maximum facilities for investors were central to the vision of the current administration.
In addition, the prime minister instructed the relevant officials to adhere to the laws and regulations in order to facilitate private sector investors and attract investment.

He went on to say that the current government had enacted laws to attract private sector investment, but that lower-level investors were being hindered rather than assisted.
In addition, Prime Minister Mahmood Khan stated that officials who negligently or maliciously create obstacles for private investors will be subject to stern punishment.
