Issuance of Succession Certificates Facility Launched at Nadra
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah inaugurated a succession certificate one-widow operation facility at the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) Mega Centre in DHA to provide succession certificates/letters of administration within 15 days of application receipt.

According to a release, Adviser to the Chief Minister Murtaza Wahab and other authorities attended the inauguration ceremony.
The Chief Minister of Sindh stated that the Supreme Court had determined that thirty percent of the judiciary’s workload was comprised of succession-related problems, causing other essential things to be delayed.
The issuance of succession certificates and letters of administration took between three and six months, and in some circumstances up to five years; thus, the responsibility was delegated to Nadra, he noted.
Murad Ali Shah expressed gratitude to Nadra for issuing succession certificates.

Upon the death of a family member, legal heirs spend years in court before obtaining the letter of administration or succession certificate, as the case may be, according to the Chief Minister of Sindh.
However, he explained, the Succession Facilitation Unit would now receive the documents through a short five-step procedure.
