IT Ministry to Launch Beep Pakistan App Next Week
The “Beep Pakistan” application will soon be made available in federal government offices, according to the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication (MoITT).
ProPakistani was informed by sources in MoITT that the ministry has prepared the application and will test-launch “Beep Pakistan” next week.
The application test would probably start with the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Minister for IT and Telecom Aminul Haque.

For government workers to communicate internationally, the National Information Technology Board (NITB) created the “Beep Pakistan” app.
Officials from the MoITT claim that the testing of this application has just been finished and that no bugs were discovered. The ministry now wants to pre-launch it among government agencies in order to conduct extensive testing.
The 41 federal departments and ministries’ personnel will be moved to this application for international communication, according to the Ministry of IT authorities. This application now has a number of functions, such as audio-video calling, document sharing, and video conferencing.
According to IT Ministry representatives, this application would initially launch on a private cloud. In three months, National Telecommunication Corporation will finish hosting. Initially, Beep Pakistan would only be available to 500,000 customers.

The MoITT officials claim that this platform will be a substitute for Facebook, WhatsApp, and other social media services and that utilising it will protect sensitive government information.
The National Telecom & Information Security Board has approved the software, making it safe from outside meddling and cyberattacks.
