Jalozai Economic Zone Inaugurated First Batch of Industries
Peshawar: According to press accounts, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Industries and Investment (SACM) Abdul Karim Khan Tordher opened various industries in the Jalozai Economic Zone on Thursday (December 23). Under the China-Pakistan Economic Zones project, nine economic zones have been established (CPEC).

According to SACM, the inauguration ceremony was held to commemorate the achievement of significant industrialization milestones in the province. He asserts that increasing industrial zones will help the province prosper and create more employment opportunities for young people. He further noted that the Jalozai Economic Zone is a rapidly expanding industrial zone due to the streamlined approval process and rapid implementation by KPEZDMC.

According to him, the first enterprises to launch in the Jalozai Economic Zone will assist reinvigorate the province’s longstanding legacy of weaponry production. The KP Economic Zones Development & Management Company administers the Jalozai Economic Zone, which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mahmood Khan in July of 2020.
