ICC President Jay Shah has deleted a social media post in which he praised the Indian Army, sparking debate over his role’s neutrality.
Shah had posted a message calling the Indian Armed Forces “our pride,” which raised questions about whether he was acting as the head of the International or Indian Cricket Council.

Critics argued that such public national endorsements may conflict with the ICC’s expectation of impartiality in global cricket matters. The post has since been removed following the backlash.
