Jazz Recognized as Pakistan’s Fastest Mobile Network in Latest Ookla Report

Jazz has been ranked Pakistan’s best mobile network in the Ookla® Speedtest Connectivity Report for the second half of 2025, based on millions of user-initiated tests conducted across the country between July and December 2025.

Zong secured the second position in the rankings, followed by Ufone in third place, while Telenor was ranked as the slowest network overall during the period under review.

According to the report, Jazz achieved the highest Speedtest Connectivity Score of 59.83. This score reflects overall network performance, including speed, browsing capability, and user connectivity experience. The operator also recorded a Speed Score of 42.14, with median real-world download speeds of 24.13 Mbps and upload speeds of 8.89 Mbps across all mobile technologies combined.

In terms of video performance, Jazz posted a Video Streaming Score of 74.41 and received a 5-star user rating of 3.48, based on aggregated feedback from Speedtest users. Ookla’s methodology evaluates real-world performance across everyday activities such as video streaming, web browsing, social media use, and online work applications.

For gaming performance, Zong delivered the best mobile gaming experience in Pakistan during the second half of 2025. Among fixed internet service providers, PTCL Flash Fiber recorded the best gaming experience.

City-level data showed that Faisalabad had the fastest median mobile download speed among Pakistan’s most populous cities at 24.13 Mbps. Hyderabad ranked second, followed by Multan in third place. On the lower end, Rawalpindi recorded the slowest median mobile download speed at 18.11 Mbps, with Islamabad and Sialkot also trailing behind. Jazz was identified as the fastest provider across ten cities.

At the regional level, Punjab recorded the highest median mobile download speed at 20.97 Mbps, followed by Sindh and Balochistan. Azad Jammu and Kashmir posted the slowest median mobile download speed at 12.07 Mbps, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan also ranking lower. Jazz was the fastest provider across four regions during the reporting period.
