Kalash Valley Camping Pods Open for Tourists
Peshawar: According to a news source, Mian Asif, a spokesman of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Tourism Board, stated on April 14 that reservations for camping pods in Kalash Valley had started.

He added that visitors and travelers who are interested in renting the pod facility can contact the KP Tourist Board by calling their helpline at (1422) and asking about reservations and information. These camping pods reportedly went up in 2019 with the goal of boosting travel to KP.

The aforementioned camping pods are available with two or four bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a few additional amenities. A 2-bedroom pod costs PKR 3,000 per night in rent, while a larger pod costs PKR 5,000.

Asif claims that the KP government has additionally released a smartphone application that allows users to reserve hotels, guesthouses, camping pods, and other amenities online. The board’s website has also been updated at the same time.
