Kallar Kahar Museum Initiated Museum Finally Inaugurated
Chakwal: The Kallar Kahar museum was finally opened after seven years of construction. Asif Mehmood, the chief minister’s tourism advisor, gave the museum its official opening. Ahsan Bhutta, the secretary for tourism, Ilyas Gill, the director general for archaeology, and other relevant officials were present.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Mehmood claimed that Kallar Kahar had tourism potential and that the opening of the museum will boost tourism in the region.
In the foreseeable future, the province’s important tourist destinations will all have museums installed.
According to Mr. Bhutta, the fossils on display at one of the museums are millions of years old. Comparable artefacts from 7,000 to 1,500 BC, pre- and protohistoric, and the first to seventh centuries AD are on show in the Indus & Gandhara galleries.

Coins in the collection date back to the fifth century BC.
Additionally, he continued, “the third gallery also exhibits ethnological material, jewelry, armor, utensils, and traditional objects of district Chakwal.
