The Board of Secondary Education Karachi has rescheduled the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, which will now begin on April 10.
The exams were originally planned to start from April 7 and continue until May 2 across the Karachi Division. However, the board delayed the schedule due to technical issues linked to its transition from a manual system to a digital platform.
According to the board’s controller of examinations, the software system became overloaded, causing temporary disruptions. The IT team is currently working to resolve these issues to ensure a smooth examination process.
Officials said the decision to postpone the exams was taken to maintain transparency and proper organization during the conduct of examinations.
A revised date sheet is expected to be issued soon, while students will continue to appear at their previously assigned examination centres.
