Karachi: According to news reported in the national dailies on January 15, Federal Minister (FM) for Commerce and Industries, Dr. Gohar Ejaz visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI). During his visit, he revealed plans for a massive 10,000-acre industrial zone in Karachi.
According to the news source, if the industrial zone in Karachi is implemented, it may result in exports worth USD 100 billion over the following five years. Also, it will contribute to the creation of three million employment in Karachi alone. FM Ejaz expressed hope that the business community may increase profits and promote economic growth.
