Karachi University Signs Major Agreement With Italian Universities
The University of Karachi, the Italian University of Naples L’Orientale, and the University for Foreigners of Perugia came together on Tuesday to formalize their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The signing ceremony took place at the KU Latif Ebrahim Jamal National Science Information Centre, with representatives from each university present. Notable signatories included the Consul General of Italy in Karachi, Danilo Giurdanella, and the Vice-Chancellor of KU, Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi.

The primary objective of this MoU is to foster academic cooperation and exchange among the participating universities. It aims to establish collaborative programs in the areas of teaching, training, and research across a wide range of fields, including science, humanities, tourism, communication, social sciences, international relations, Italian language, and culture.

The signing of this MoU is a significant milestone in strengthening the academic ties between Pakistan and Italy.
