In honor of Kashmir Solidarity Day, February 5, 2024, has been designated as a public holiday in Pakistan, according to the Cabinet Division.

Supporting the Kashmiri people, who have been under Indian occupation since 1947, is the focus of this day.

The press statement states that at 10:00 am, there will be a one-minute pause in remembrance of the Kashmiri martyrs. On Kashmir Solidarity Day, we honor the sacrifices made by the people of Kashmir in their fight for independence.
