Kech and Gwadar to be Declared Calamity Hit
According to sources, Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, chief minister of Balochistan, indicated in Quetta that the province government has decided to declare Gwadar and Kech districts disaster-stricken areas and will give directions for the chief secretary to take action.
During his visit to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) headquarters, he told reporters that the Makran Coast’s torrential rains had caused catastrophic damage in the Gwadar and Kech districts.

The concerned authorities, including the army, navy, Frontier Corps, police, and Levies Force, have also begun a rescue operation in the areas affected by the recent rainfall. Additionally, the government made every attempt to provide homeless individuals with aid and shelter.

The director of the PDMA informed the chief minister on the rescue and relief operation in disaster-stricken districts. The government also issued a warning before to the onset of precipitation and snowfall.
