KMC Invites Agencies to Beautify 106 Roads in Karachi
According to media reports, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) arranged a conference to discuss the beautification and renovation of 106 roadways and invited agencies to assist in beautifying Karachi roads.

KMC Administrator Laeeq Ahmed presided over the meeting, which was also attended by KMC Senior Director of Coordination Khalid Khan, Parks Director General Taha Saleem, General Works Director Shabiul Hassan Zaidi, and other officers.
Administrator of the KMC stated that a council of advisors would be constituted to oversee road reconstruction. The committee will consist of prominent figures, innovative thinkers, and KMC representatives.
In an effort to beautify Karachi, a number of big firms and organizations have already provided suggestions for the redesign of Karachi’s roads.

Important roads include Shahrah-e-Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, Shahrah-e-Pakistan, and others. In addition, he stated that Shahrah-e-Faisal is an important road because it connects to the airport.
Mr. Laeeq Ahmad has also requested the citizens of Karachi to plant trees and make the city greener and cleaner in order to help improve the city’s image.
