Kuwait Resumes Pakistanis Visas After Decade-Long Suspension
Islamabad: Kuwait announced the “immediate” restoration of several visas, including in the family and business categories for Pakistani people, after a ten-year ban.

Pakistani work permits were outlawed by Kuwait in 2011; despite efforts on the part of previous administrations, the limitations remained in place. The restriction was lifted by Kuwait in March 2017 as well, according to the previous administration, which made the announcement while Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was visiting the oil-rich nation.
The choice was never carried out, though. It was decided to reinstate Pakistan’s family and business permits right away. It was also determined that Pakistani employees would henceforth be granted visas to Kuwait in accordance with the agreement.

According to the statement, Pakistanis living in Gulf nations will now be allowed to go to Kuwait with an online visa since there will no longer be any limitations on technical visas in the medical and oil professions.
The Kuwaiti premier received a special letter from Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan at the event, which was also attended by the interior minister.
