
ISLAMABAD, May 25, 2022-The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) will trade 327 acres of land in the Margalla Hills National Park (MHNP). The property will be developed for the C-14 and C-15 sectors, as well as the Margalla Hill Road
In a meeting between CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed and IWMB officers, it was decided that the CDA would use the road and sector area that falls within the MHNP’s reserve forest compartments 31 and 33, as well as a piece of land to the south. In return, the MHNP would be given equivalent land including the Margazhar Zoo and CDA-acquired land in Pind Sangrial and Pind Siri Saral to the north of sector D-12.
