On Wednesday, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) demolished the buildings of seven unlawful housing societies as part of its ongoing operation against them.
Details indicate that different authority teams intervened against Eagle Homes, Albek project, and Royal Smart City, all of which are situated on Soay Asal Raiwand Road.

In addition, action was taken against the Vital Orchard Scheme on Jaya Baga Road, Rana Park, and Zaheer Villas close to College Road. The authorities demolished the unapproved plots’ roads, offices, boundary walls, and sewerage systems.
Furthermore, the Dream Housing Scheme’s expansion office was sealed despite having been built without LDA authority.
The operation was conducted in accordance with Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa’s instructions. The operation involved several authority divisions, such as the Compliance Wing and the Directorate of Private Housing Schemes.
