LDA launches online appointment system

Lahore: According to the authority’s official Facebook page, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has introduced an online appointment system to reduce in-person encounters and shield people from coronavirus infection.

The following standard operating procedures (SOPs) shall be followed in accordance with the recently announced LDA’s online appointment system:

Visitors won’t be allowed on the authority’s property after April 5, and only applications will be accepted.
The one-window cell will be open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 2 pm.
The public can access to the specially built portal at www.lda.gop.pk to get the online appointments.
SMS will be used to remind citizens of their appointments, which they must attend in person.
Only at the designated time and with the proper documentation, including computerised national identity cards, can citizens visit the one window cell (CNIC)
Before admittance, visitors will have their temperature checked.
If applications are submitted after the designated period, they will not be considered.
Only one citizen may enter the premises for submission; however, the crippled and old may bring one aide into the one window cell.
There will be restrooms available for employees and candidates.
At designated one-window cells, applications for LDA City and LDA Avenue 1 will be accepted.
As applications are processed, the status will be uploaded, and any interested citizens should visit the website to verify the status of their applications before visiting the office.
