LDA to Organize Public Workshop for Kasur’s Development
Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has arranged a public hearing and stakeholder workshop on the planned and sustainable development of the Kasur District. The hearing will begin on February 19 at 11 a.m. at the District Council Chambers.

The meeting will focus on public issues such as water and sanitation, public transportation, industry and economy, education, health, pedestrian and cyclist facilities, population management, civic services, green land and farm management, and cultural heritage, according to an announcement on the LDA’s Facebook page. The seminar is a component of the government’s Master Plan for the Lahore Division in 2050.
To address ongoing problems and improve District Kasur, the LDA has invited a variety of stakeholders, private institutions and organizations, interest groups, industrialists, public semi-government, autonomous bodies, students, and citizens to submit their opinions/recommendations/suggestions and observations at a public hearing/workshop and in the LDA office. People can also participate in live sessions via ‘Facebook Live,’ the URL for which will be posted on the LDA website.

Where is the best place to submit written proposals? The public is encouraged to make written suggestions to the office of the Metropolitan Planning Wing LDA. On the website for the Master Plan for Lahore Division 2050, citizens can also submit their ideas.
