Vehicles that enter motorways without an M-Tag will be subject to fines, as established by the National Highway Authority (NHA).
All vehicles must obtain an M-Tag by December 31 in order to utilize Pakistan’s highways, according to the authority.
Peshawar-Islamabad-Lahore Motorway (M1), Pindi Bhattian-Multan Motorway (M4), Hakla-D.I. Khan Motorway (M14), Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway (M3), Multan-Sukkur Motorway (M5), and Hassanabdal-Mansehra Expressway (E35) are among the motorways covered by the M-Tag regulation.

It is urged that drivers confirm the completion of their M-Tag registration process. In addition, drivers are recommended by the NHA and the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) to utilize fog lights in deep fog and to forego travel unless absolutely necessary.
