Mahmood Orders Completion of Mega Projects in Next Two Years
Here in Peshawar, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has instructed government ministries to complete as many huge development projects as possible during the next two years.

According to a statement published here, the chief minister presided over a meeting to examine development projects at which Top Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Syed Zafar Ali Shah and other senior officials participated.
The gathering was briefed on the status of provincial development initiatives. It was reported that the project’s first phase to renovate 32 district hospitals had begun and will be finished within the next two years at a cost of Rs 5 billion.
In addition, Rs1.2 billion has been granted to convert 50 rural health institutes into facilities that are open 24/7. In the first phase, Rs110 million were allocated to renovate 25 rural health clinics.

In the industrial sector, an access road to the Rashakai special economic zone has been completed, as has 90 percent of the work on providing the economic zone with utilities.
In addition, a feasibility study is being conducted to establish the Bannu economic zone, and PC-1 has been created for the first phase of the Darabin economic zone. The meeting was informed that 11 distinct construction projects were underway.
